Loving some All-Star Soccer

Austin hersubway-new-logo-06e again, bringing you the latest chatter about 2013 Subway High School All-Star action presented by Andrews Institute the official sportscare provider. I want to go ahead and wish everybody a Happy Valentines day, I hope it went well. Just one week from now is the 7th annual Subway High School All-Star Soccer Game at Ashton Brosnaham Complex. This game brings together the areas top seniors and gives them a place to showcase their talents to friends, family, and college recruiters one last time before their storied high school careers begin a new chapter in college.

Since it is Valentines Day wlovee should add a little Valentines flare to our blog. I am going to tell you who we love (keep your eye on) for the All-Star game next week. A press release from PSA came out on Wednesday to announce the rosters and there are some real strong soccer players on it.

Follow this link to check out all of the rosters. http://www.subwaypsaallstars.com/PSA-Subway-Game-soccer.cfm

For the East Team boys there seem to be some serious studs, the one I love the most is Drew Kirkpatrick. Much love goes out to Kirkpatrick who scored 29 goals in only 13 games with Rocky Bayou, that’s roughly 2.2 goals per game! When you watch this kid look out, because he will put hearts in your eyes and make you feel like your floating on clouds. For the West Team boys I’m getting some serious love vibes from Brandon May. May, out of Pine Forest, is one of the areas best Goal Keepers and he is going to be a real challenge for the East. Switching it over to girls now, the girls East player that needs some heart-shaped chocolates isvalentines-chocolate Allison Proctor from Gulf Breeze. In the 2012-2013 season Proctor scored 16 goals and had seven more assists to go along with it, somebody please get this girl some candy! Last but not least is West player Katie Richmon. Richmon is a four-year starter with over 100 career goals while at Catholic. With those kind of stats, she deserves the biggest teddy bear possible.

That’s a lot of love, now make sure you come out and show your favorite player(s) some love. Tickets are $7 at the door or you can bring a canned good and the ticket will be $5. PSA is partnered up with Manna Food Drive for all of our All-Star games. We will see you Thursday Feb. 21 at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. for the girls and boys games, respectively. Stick around for the half time show because Academy Sports and Outdoors will have games and activities to participate in.valentine24

Until next time,

Austin
